Howard Altschule Appointed to Panel by New York Governor David Patterson
After three months of background checks and interviews, Howard Altschule, a Consulting Meteorologist and the President of Forensic Weather Consultants, LLC, receivednotification from Governor Patterson today stating that Mr. Altschule was officially appointed by the Governor as a member of the Governor's Panel on Homeowners Insurance. Other members of the panel include Insurance Company CEO's, the Insurance Commisioner, Senators and Assembly members. “I am thankful that the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation thought highly enough of me to reccommend me to the Governor's office. I'm equally excited that the Governorreached out to me and appointed me tothis panel”, Altschule said.Howard Altschule willbe contributing his experience and knowledge of weather patterns and storm systemsin the United States, and New York, and will be applying it to the ongoing policies being implemented and updated on the State level.
“I’m excited to help the People of New York, the Governor and the members of this panel anyway I can”, said Altschule. The Governor’s Office stated that Howard Altschule’s extensive experience in Meteorology, Forensic Weather, court cases and Insurance Claims makes him a perfect fit for the panel.
