Hurricane Sandy Forensic Reports
Hurricane Sandy Forensic Reports

Using archived weather observations and storm surge/storm tide data, we will determine what the sustained winds, wind gusts and storm surge/tides were during "Sandy" at each loss location. When viewing the tables, graphs and reports, homeowners, adjusters, attorneys and engineers can see what occurred at a loss location and use that information to help resolve their claims.

Slip and Fall on Snow/Ice Reports
Slip and Fall on Snow/Ice Reports

Our most common type of case is a slip and fall on snow/ice case. We will determine if melting and refreezing processes occurred, when ice last formed before the incident or if there was a "Storm In Progress". Our clients are often surprised and very pleased with what we find and how we prepare our reports.

Motor Vehicle Accident Cases
Motor Vehicle Accident Cases

We provide detailed weather analysis and written reports for MVA cases where rainfall, snowfall, wet roads, black ice of ponding of water may have been a factor. Our findings can help determine whether ponding of water or hydroplaning on the roads was possible or if the ground was wet, snow covered or icy. We will also determine what the surface visbilities were.

Hail Damage Cases
Hail Damage Cases

We work on many Hail Cases each year...sometimes for the homeowner/business owner and sometimes for the insurance company. Some of these cases involve alleged fraudulent claism and some involve homeowners who were denied coverage even though a hailstorm occurred. We provide Doppler radar images, hail information, in-depth analysis and detailed reports for each case.

Motor Vehicle Accident Cases (Low Visibility / Fog)
Motor Vehicle Accident Cases (Low Visibility / Fog)

Forensic weather investigations into Motor Vehicle Accidents involving fog, sun glare, low visibility or smoke are also common types of cases we work on. By studying the weather records, surface observations, weather advisories/warnings and astronomical information, we can determine if sun glare, moonlight, fog or smoke was present near where an accident occurred.
