**LONG RANGE FORECAST WHICH INCLUDES INCREASING SNOWSTORM THREAT**
Saturday, February 18, 2012 8:01PM
It's looking more and more like a very active weather pattern will develop across the Northeast beginning later this and continuing forward for at least the next couple of weeks. With this will come the threat of numerous storm systems for the northeast and Mid-Atlantic states including some that will be rain-producers but also some that will threaten with accumulating snows. Net result is an increasing threat for a major snowstorm in the Northeast over the next 2 weeks. The next threat for some snow looks to come to Upstate New York and New England Thursday or Friday of this week a secondary low forms over Long Island.
